Throughout the years, DKT Egypt/MENA helped more and more couples in the MENA region in planning for a thriving future, via supplying the Egyptian, Jordanian, Sudanese, Saudi, Iraqi, Yemeni, Bahraini and Syrian markets with a variety of contraceptive methods, awareness campaigns for women in-need, training for health care professionals, and timely joint activities with different entities.

During 2022, DKT Egypt/MENA generated 2.25 million Couple Year’s Protection (CYPs). Due to DKT’s dedication to its mission in serving family planning and birth spacing in Egypt, during 2021 alone DKT Egypt helped the Egyptian society by: 1,259,672 pregnancies averted; 307 maternal deaths averted; 3,102 child deaths averted; 496,332 unsafe abortions averted; and 20,445 maternal DALYs averted.

With its diversified contraceptive cafeteria, DKT Egypt/MENA strives to satisfy the different contraceptive needs, providing 6 IUDs as LARCs (long-acting reversible contraceptives), to match the different needs of women as well as the different IUD loading and insertion styles of service providers.

To serve couples seeking short-term contraception/contraception upon need, DKT Egypt/MENA provides 2 condom brands, vaginal foaming suppositories, and emergency contraceptive tablets.

And the newest addition to DKT Egypt/MENA’s portfolio is IPAS MVA ASPIRATOR with sterile Ipas Easy Grip cannula, in Egypt, Jordan and Sudan for healthcare professionals only.
